Mass of Christian Burial for 72 year old Gene Venner of Manning will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9 at Sacred Heart Church in Manning with interment in the parish cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until a Prayer Service begins at 7:00 p.m. all on Thursday, August 8 at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. He passed away Sunday, August 4 at Accura Healthcare of Carroll.
Survivors include his brother, Ron Venner of Manning; sister, Jan and her husband Doyle Fuchs of Dripping Springs, Texas; nephew, Jeremy Fuchs and his wife Kristen of Austin, Texas and their children: Henry and Lillian Fuchs; uncle, Cyril Venner and his wife Anita of Arcadia; aunt, Dorothy Bellinghausen of Carroll; other relatives and friends.
