Update: Laurens Police Department has made contact with Heitman, confirming her safe.
The Sac City Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a Sac City woman who was reported missing last night (Monday). Forty-four-year-old Amy Lyn Heitman of Sac City was reported missing by family and friends on the evening of Monday, Aug. 12. Authorities say the last known contact with Heitman was at approximately 9:36 p.m. when she experienced car troubles. Repeated phone calls and other attempts by law enforcement to make contact have been so far unsuccessful. Heitman is 5’ 2”, approximately 150 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. She is believed to have been driving a 1992 Chrysler Lebaron with a license plate number OQV 268 at the time she was reported missing.
