Update: Laurens Police Department has made contact with Heitman, confirming her safe.
The vehicle of the missing Sac City woman has been found, but no sightings of her have been reported. The Pocahontas Police Department have confirmed the 1992 Chrysler Lebaron, the vehicle believed to be driven by forty-four-year-old Amy Lyn Heitman was located on Highway 7 north of Pomeroy this (Tuesday) morning. More information has been provided by the Sac City Police Department, that Heitman was last seen leaving a friend’s house in Laurens, wearing blue jeans, a black t-shirt with her hair down.
