The United Way of Carroll is hosting its annual grill out tomorrow (Thursday) as it raises funds to support local organizations and charitable efforts. Volunteers will serve a meal of a hamburger, chips, a cookie, and a drink for only $10 at First United Methodist Church on Carroll’s Main Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds from the event will stay in Carroll County. Previous local recipients of funding from the United Way include the Carroll Area Childcare Center and Preschool, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), local schools, the Community of Concern Food Pantry, and many others.
