Chlöe Bailey dropped her surprise sophomore album “Trouble in Paradise,” which includes the singles “FYS” and “Boy Bye.”  The former track was produced by Chlöe, Bongo ByTheWay, Go Grizzly, and Cashmere Brown; while ‘Boy Bye‘ was produced by Yeti Beats, Rogét Chahayed, Carter Lang, and Kurtis McKenzie.

“Boy Bye” was released ahead of Chlöe’s Coachella performance in April, and she explained of the track: “‘Boy Bye’ is an anthem for anyone who needs to get rid of someone toxic and draining from their life. It’s liberating and free. That’s how it feels to finally let go of dead weight that’s been keeping you down. Instead of being sad about releasing what’s not good for me, I celebrate it.”

The new LP “Trouble in Paradise” was largely recorded in Saint Lucia and, and Chlöe explained in an interview with Nylon that the album is “a coming-of-age celebration of being a woman and having fun, not taking life too seriously.”  The album is also the follow-up to Chlöe’s debut album, In Pieces, released March 2023 and debuting at No. 17 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.
