The Carroll Signet Masonic Lodge’s and Carroll Aviation’s annual flight breakfast is scheduled for this weekend at the Arthur N. Neu Municipal Airport, and the weather forecast suggests a near-perfect day for the event. The Masons will begin serving meals at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, in the airport’s hanger. Joe Reed, one of the Masons who helps organize the day’s program, says they have a delicious breakfast for those who plan to attend.
The cost per meal is $10 for adults, $8 for children between six and 12 years old, and kids five and under eat for free. The Masons will stop serving food at 1 p.m. Sunday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and temperatures topping out around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Reid says that should lead to plenty of aircraft flying to Carroll that morning.
The plane rides offered by Carroll Aviation are $35 per person during the flight breakfast. Reed says Sunday is the Carroll lodge’s largest fundraiser of the year, which the Masons use to back area organizations and programs.
Again, the 2024 Carroll Signet Masonic Lodge flight breakfast will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Arthur N. Neu Municipal Airport east of Carroll.
