Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has embarked on a 10-day trade mission to India to strengthen trade and investment ties with one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. Joining her are Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) Director Debi Durham, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig, and Iowa business and agricultural leaders. The mission includes stops in Delhi and Mumbai, where the contingent will meet with Indian government officials and American business leaders. She will also deliver a keynote speech at the U.S.-India Business Council’s 49th India Ideas Summit and visit the Seghal Foundation, known for its clean water initiatives and girls’ education. Reynolds will host Iowa-India Trade and Investment events in both cities, promoting Iowa as an investment hub for Indian companies, particularly in advanced manufacturing, biotech, and agriculture. The Iowa Economic Development Authority organized the mission with support from U.S. officials in India.
