The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will be meeting for their regular scheduled meeting on Monday with mainly routine items on the agenda. The meeting will convene at 9:00 a.m. at the supervisor’s meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse, starting with a secondary roads department update and approval plat(s). The members will review and approve the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) HIPAA program, providing annual training and consultation regarding HIPAA policies that need to be implemented by the board. The supervisors will review and approve a resolution for interfund transfers where money from the Maple River Wastewater fund is moved to the Local Option Fund with principal payments beginning in November of this year. A public hearing will be set and published regarding the Maple River Wastewater system loan, where payments will be made over a 10-year period at 2.5% interest. The meeting will conclude with annual updates on manure management and committee reports. The meeting is open to the public and will also be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
