An approximately one-mile stretch of Mahogany Avenue near Dedham will be closed this week for road repairs. According to the Carroll County Road Department, Mahogany Avenue between Iowa Highway 141 and 320th Street will be impassible to through traffic until Friday, Sept. 20 while crews are on site for a culvert replacement. Local traffic can bypass the work area to the west via Lynn Avenue or to the east via Noble Avenue.
