The Iowa Bicycle Coalition is asking cycling enthusiasts, trail users, local government representatives, and anyone looking to promote future trail projects to partake in the online survey about the economic impact of cycling and trails throughout Iowa. Yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, Luke Hoffman, Executive Director for the Iowa Bicycle Coalition, visited the Breda Depot EBikes shop while riding the Sauk Rail Trail, discussing potential regional trail plans for the future. Hoffman says this survey will provide updated, critical information to lawmakers on how Iowa is the trials capital of the world.
Hoffman says the communities located near or on a trail path are seeing the most economic impact.
The survey can be found online and the link has been included below. Hoffman says it takes less than two minutes to complete to help promote the future of the trail systems in the area and throughout the state.
The Iowa Bicycle Coalition is partnering with numerous government and non-profit organizations to assist with this project. Their goal is to get all 99 Iowa counties on board for this study.
