In less than two weeks, members of the Carroll Fire Department will begin knocking on doors throughout town, selling tickets for the 102nd annual Carroll Firemen’s Dance. Fire Chief Dan Hannasch says the first day of door-to-door sales is the first Monday in October.
Firefighter Jeremy Heinrichs says this is the department’s major fundraiser of the year, and the money collected from ticket sales and donations goes directly into the department’s equipment and programs.
The 2024 Firemen’s Dance will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Carrollton Center, with live music from Third Wish. Those unable to attend the dance can still support the Carroll Fire Department using Venmo @Carroll-FireDept or by sending a check to the fire station at 801 Bella Vista Dr. in Carroll.
