Medical Examiners, Mental Health Regions, And Worker’s Compensation On Monday’s Carroll County Board Of Supervisors Agenda

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will host several discussions during their meeting Monday, ranging from mental health region properties to the county’s worker’s compensation claim process. The board convenes at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, in the supervisors’ meeting room at the courthouse. They begin the meeting with the review and potential approval of the county’s medical examiner investigator list and mileage reimbursement for said investigators. They then move into discussions on property owned by the Rolling Hills Mental Health Region, which the county is a member of, and what may become of the property following overhauls to the state’s mental health system. At 9:30 a.m., the board will host a public hearing on a proposed inter-fund loan to the Maple River Wastewater System to stabilize the rural utility, followed by the worker’s compensation claim discussion, manure management annual updates, and committee reports. Monday’s meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
