The third annual Glidden Downtown Fall Fest is this Saturday. It is a way to promote the city’s downtown district while getting ahead on some holiday shopping. Throughout the afternoon, participants of all ages can enjoy food, drinks, different activities and view all the various vendors and businesses with something unique to offer attendees. City Administrator Brooke Peterson says the idea started three years ago to bring more traffic into Glidden and show everyone what the community has to offer.
Peterson says all activities during the Fall Fest will be free, thanks to the support of local community members and businesses and funding raised during the Glidden Community Auction.
In addition to the many local businesses that Glidden has to offer in the downtown district, there will be more shopping opportunities on Saturday.
Again, the third annual Glidden Downtown Fall Fest is this Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Peterson wants to thank all the community members who continue to support the community’s businesses by staying local.
