In honor of Fire Prevention Week next week, the Manning Fire Department invites all to join them at the station for an open house. This Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Manning firefighters will open the doors, giving tours of the station and trucks and viewing equipment the department uses when on calls. A Life Flight helicopter will be available to tour from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Department members will be grilling up a meal for a free will donation, with all proceeds going to help offset costs of new equipment and operational expenses for the year. Again, the Manning Fire and Rescue Open House will be held this Sunday at the Manning Fire Station from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
