The first full-length trailer for the new film The Apprentice was released, starring Sebastian Stan as a young Donald Trump.

The Apprentice explores Trump’s early career in real estate in New York in the 1970s and 1980s, and examines his relationship with attorney Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong). An official synopsis for the film: “A young Donald Trump, eager to make his name as a hungry scion of a wealthy family in 1970s New York, comes under the spell of Roy Cohn, the cutthroat attorney who would help create the Donald Trump we know today.  Cohn sees in Trump the perfect protégé—someone with raw ambition, a hunger for success, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to win.”

The studio previously shared a teaser for the film, written by Gabriel Sherman and directed by Ali Abbasi, which shows Trump (Stan) takes a phone interview in a car as Cohn (Strong) coaches him.  Trump tells the reporter: “I intend to acquire the Commodore, and I’m planning on making it the best and the finest building in the city, maybe the country — in the world … it’s going to be the finest building in the world.”

The Apprentice, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, opens in theaters Oct. 11.  See the trailer: HERE.
