The City of Wall Lake is finishing up the process of addition ten new lots to it’s most recent housing division, offering the chance for new families to consider Wall Lake as their home. The completion of Schroeder’s Fourth Addition is expected to be completed within the next few weeks, but individuals interested can begin the purchasing process anytime now. City Clerk Chris Rodman says this newest housing addition brings much potential, as many individuals have been inquiring about the lots already.
Rodman says the city uses TIF money to pay for a portion of the debt to create the lots and get them ready for construction of a new house, making the building on that property a lot simpler for property owners.
Rodman says by promoting housing in the community, it increases the economy and overall well-being of Wall Lake. Rodman says there has been quite a few individuals interested in the lots, so he encourages anyone wanting to purchase a lot to act fast.
The lots are for single-family homes and construction must be completed with in 18 months of the purchase date for the lot. Anyone with additional questions is asked to contact Rodman at Wall Lake City Hall.
