The Breda American Legion Family invites locals to the annual Legion fundraiser soup supper tomorrow (Saturday) evening at the Legion Hall in Breda. Legion Member Bob Fasbender says American Legion members, the Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of the American Legion, and American Legion Riders will serve dinner starting at 5 p.m.
To-go orders can be arranged by calling 712-673-2683. Fasbender says the money raised is split between the Breda American Legion Family groups, which then goes back to support their operations and veteran causes.
Fasbender adds that Saturday’s Breda American Legion Family soup supper is another opportunity to purchase one of their perennially popular gun raffle calendars.
Calendars are available for $40 each and can be purchased from any Breda American Legion member or from Michael’s Shoes in Carroll. The raffle drawing and wild game feed are scheduled for Feb. 22, 2025.
