The Audubon County Road Department is closing a stretch of 190th Street on Wednesday for planned road construction. County officials say 190th between Heron Avenue and U.S. Highway 71 will be closed beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 16 while crews complete concrete patching and drainage improvements. The work is expected to last about a week, and the road should reopen by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, weather dependent. Motorists can bypass the construction zone via 180th Street and Heron Avenue for the project’s duration.
