A Carroll woman has been placed on probation after pleading guilty for withdrawing approximately $2,000 from another person’s bank account using personal checks and a debit card. Between Sept. 1 and Sept. 20 of last year, 42-year-old McKensie Bess went to multiple ATMs throughout Carroll, withdrawing a total of $1,966 from the victim’s personal bank account. Bess entered a plea agreement last month for the charge of second-degree theft, a class D felony and has been placed on probation for a period of three years. Bess has also been ordered to pay a $1,966 in victim restitution.
