Early Voting Opens Today In Iowa

Today (Tuesday) marks the first day of early voting in Iowa for the upcoming general election. Iowans can cast their ballots in person at their county auditor’s office or designated early voting locations now through Monday, Nov. 4. Voters opting for early in-person voting must bring a valid form of identification, such as an Iowa driver’s license, non-driver ID card, or voter identification card. Voters who requested absentee ballots by mail should receive them within the next several days and must return them by mail or drop them off at their county auditor’s office by 8 p.m. on Election Day. For more details on early voting locations, hours, or additional documentation requirements, Iowans are encouraged to contact their county auditor’s office.
