McFarland Clinic in Carroll Donates $21,000 to the New Hope Campaign so residents with mobility challenges have access to barrier-free lifts. New Hope launched this campaign in 2020, intending to replace all single-track lifts at the key areas of the campus with dual tracks, allowing individuals with limited mobility to move more freely, promoting independence, and improving quality of life. CEO of New Hope, Jenn Quigley, says, “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our McFarland Clinic physicians and their commitment to supporting our mission. Their donation allowed us to reach our goal and make a lasting impact in the lives of the individuals we serve.” These barrier-free lifts will play a crucial role in the daily routines, giving staff the tools they need to care while providing safer and more comfortable support for the residents. McFarland Clinic’s medical director, Dr. John Evans, says, “At McFarland Clinic, we are deeply committed to improving the health and well-being of our community and supporting New Hope aligns with our mission. We are proud to help make a difference in the lives of the residents and ensure they have the resources necessary for a safe and fulfilling life. Our New Hope patients have a special place in our hearts.” All of the funding has been secured, allowing New Hope to complete the installation of the dual-track barrier-free lifts by the end of this year.
