The Carroll County Fraud Coalition (CCFC) has announced Nov. 7 as the next date for their countywide meeting on fraud prevention. The keynote speaker will be Al Perales, an investigator for the Office of the Iowa Attorney General. He will be joined by local cybersecurity experts from Computer Repair and Service of Carroll to discuss common forms of fraud and what businesses can do to protect themselves and their customers from becoming victims. The Nov. 7 program will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Western Iowa Networks meeting room at their headquarters in Carroll. There are no fees to attend, but registration is required by Oct. 31 by calling 712-792-3567 or using the contact points included with this story on our website. Lunch is included for attendees.
