The Lake View Community Club invites all to come out to celebrate family, friends, and the community’s local heroes at the annual Lake Fest this weekend. Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Speaker Park Shelter House, there will be a wide variety of activities, from food, a bounce house, games, and more fun for everyone of all ages to enjoy. Lake View Community Club Event Coordinator Emily Meyer says this event has been going on for years; she has just adjusted some activities to make it more community wide.
Meyer says Lake Fest will have all the residents’ favorite events, including a a popular food competition that is making a comeback, with a twist this time.
Events like these only happen with a team of organizers and volunteers helping to run the show. Meyer says that volunteer awards will be given to show the Lake View Community Club and the City of Lake View’s appreciation for all these individuals.
Again, Lake Fest will be at Speaker Park Shelter House this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Everyone is encouraged to come celebrate Lake View and everything the community has to offer.
