Ivan “Jelly Belly” Lee Deist, age 80, of Audubon, IA, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Friendship Home in Audubon, IA.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Audubon, IA. Interment with military rites will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. Following the committal, a luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Audubon, IA.
Memorials may be directed to the Deist Family in his honor. They will be designated at a later date and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 201, Audubon, IA 50025.
