Officials in Westside announced today (Thursday) that the nearly weeklong boil advisory for the community has been lifted. The order was initially put in place last Friday after a hydrant blew out during the main flushing, resulting in near-systemwide pressure loss. The order was extended on Tuesday after weekend testing revealed bacterial contamination remained in the system, but more recent tests have come back clear. Westside customers can return to using their water as usual. City officials thank residents for their patience and understanding of the order’s duration.
