The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education meets for a work session this upcoming Monday to take action on the bids received for the transportation facility and more. The members open the meeting at 6:30 p.m. with a closed session per Iowa Code 21.5(1)c “to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation may be imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the government body in that litigation.” Upon leaving the closed session, Superintendent Dr. Casey Berlau says the members will take action on the bids received for the transportation facility project and discuss financing options with Piper Sandler.
