Deb Kroeger of Carroll

Deborah “Deb” Kay Kroeger, age 69, of Carroll, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Carroll, IA.
     Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Carroll Church of Christ with Pastor Tyler VanWey officiating.  Casket bearers will be Chad Dryden, Glen Langenfeld, Dale Muhlbauer, Nick Muhlbauer, Nick Muhlbauer, Doug Schutte, and Jackie Muhlbauer.  Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery in Roselle.
     Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday.  The casket will be moved to the Carroll Church of Christ at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.

    Deb was born on December 19, 1954 in Carroll, IA, and she was the daughter of Clifford and Norma Jean (Reiff) Eischeid.  She grew up in Roselle and graduated from Kuemper High School.  Deb was married to Kevin Lee Kroeger on December 6, 1975.  The couple made their home on the Kroeger family farm near Arcadia where they farmed and raised their children.  Deb and Kevin moved to Brunswick, GA, in 1998 where Kevin did land clearing and cabinetry and Deb started a cleaning business.  Kevin passed away in 2004 and Deb moved back to Carroll in 2015.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, playing cards, puzzles, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  Deb loved Christmas and anything to do with Snoopy.
     Deb is survived by her four children and their families: daughter Tonya Weber (Keith) of Carroll, daughter Tricia Niehaus (Matt) of Cartersville, GA, son Danny Kroeger (Tracy) of Elkhart, IA, and daughter Kelly Kroeger of Carroll; five grandchildren: Haley, Emily, Macey, and Trevin Weber and Kendra Niehaus; her father Cliff Eischeid of Carroll; three sisters: Pat Langenfeld (Glen) of Mesa, AZ, Gail Muhlbauer (Dale) of Pine Haven, WY, and Barb Hoffmann of Auburn, IA; two brothers: Rick Eischeid (Becky) of Gillette, WY, and Mark Eischeid (Katie) of Gillette, WY; a brother-in-law Kerry Kroeger (Chris) of Glidden, IA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
     Deb was preceded in death by her husband Kevin Kroeger; her mother Norma Jean Eischeid; her father and mother-in-law John and Velma Kroeger; a sister-in-law Katie Dryden; and daughter Beth Ann in infancy.
