The 2024 Carroll Firemen’s Dance is this weekend, and supporters still have time to purchase tickets or donate in support of the Carroll Fire Department. Fire Chief Dan Hannasch says the volunteer firefighters have already wrapped up their door-to-door sales throughout town, but that doesn’t mean residents have missed out on joining the department for a night of fun at the Carrollton Centre.

Hannasch understands not everybody will be able to join them Saturday night during the Carroll Firemen’s Dance, but they have other ways for people to support the local department.

Carroll’s department is almost entirely made up of volunteers, and the money raised ensures they are outfitted with the equipment they need to respond to all types of emergencies, from car accidents and field fires to hazardous material spills and carbon monoxide alarms.
