Polls Now Open In Iowa For 2024 General Election

Ballot

Polls open statewide at 7 a.m. for the 2024 general election, with Iowans heading to the polls in communities large and small. Polling places, organized by precincts in each county, will remain open until 8 p.m. To assist voters, the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office offers a polling location finder online at www.sos.iowa.gov, enabling Iowans to locate their specific precinct site. Voters in each county, including Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Guthrie, and Sac counties, can find designated precinct polling places ranging from local community centers to fire stations and libraries. A complete list of local polling sites is available on our website. Election officials encourage voters to verify their polling locations before heading out. Residents are advised to contact their county auditor or consult the Secretary of State’s website for additional assistance or questions.
