The Carroll American Legion invites the public to join them tomorrow (Saturday) for a full day of fundraising and fun. Legion Member RT Schreck says the Legion is hosting their annual fundraiser outside Wendl’s Weapons and Indoor Range, which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary the same day.
Schreck says supporting the Legion takes only a few minutes.
He adds the community has always been tremendously supportive of the Carroll American Legion and thanks everybody in advance. Schreck says the money raised this year will be used for improvements to the kitchen at the Legion Hall on Heires Avenue.
Schreck says the day isn’t over when the fundraiser ends, as the Legion will be hosting a dance from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Legion Hall.
Again, the Carroll American Legion fundraiser runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, outside Wendl’s Weapons and Indoor Range at 810 E. U.S. Highway 30 in Carroll. The Legion Dance is happening from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Legion Hall.
