Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) staff were recently recognized for excellence at the 2024 Healthcare Service Excellence Conference (HCSEC) in Orlando, Fla. Lead Financial Counselor Patti Aguilar de Romero received the Summit Award for her commitment to helping patients access care by coordinating with insurance companies and government agencies. The list of other CCMH staff recognized during the conference includes: Erin Muck for “inspiring chief executive officer,” Theresa Sheer for “empowering chief nursing officer,” and Brandi Ruskell for “OASIS project team captain.” Several CCMH staff teams were also honored, including the service excellence advisor, staffing fix transformation, improvement project, and swing bed transformation teams. Muck says, “It was truly an honor for Patti and CCMH to be recognized at the 2024 HCSEC. This recognition reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in Crawford County.
