Whiterock Conservancy in Coon Rapids will be hosting a workshop where participants can create their town holiday wreath. On Thursday, Nov. 21, Kate Zimmerman, Executive Director, will teach attendees how to assemble a holiday wreath, and being able to identify the different types of conifer trees. Spots are limited, with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 people to host the class. Cost will be $10.00 per person to cover cost of materials that will be provided. Participants must be at least 18 years old and are recommended to bring their own gloves. The class will be located at the Bur Oak Visitor Center starting at 5:00 p.m. Registration is due by Monday, and those interested can sign up by contacting Zimmerman at 712-790-8221 ext. 2 or email at kzimmerman@whiterockconservancy.org.
