An Audubon County Memorial Hospital (ACMH) licensed practical nurse (LPN) was recognized at the Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) annual meeting after graduating from the IHA Leadership Development program. Specialty Clinic and Surgery Manager Sarah Asmus, LPN, was one of the 96-member graduation class, completing a year-long program aimed at developing leadership skills and competencies by creating support to continue with their roles and maximize success. Asmus says she is grateful for this opportunity, saying “It was a great experience, and I look forward to applying my new skills at Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics. We are fortunate to have a supportive administration that encourages and empowers us to grow in our professional development.”
