Manning Man Enters Plea Agreement To Lascivious Acts With A Child After Sexually Abusing A Minor Under 14

A Manning man enters a plea agreement with prosecutors on two counts of lascivious acts with a child after sexually abusing a minor under 14 years old. According to Carroll County District Court records, 38-year-old Michael William Alexander was taken into custody in April 2024 on sexual abuse in the second degree, a class B felony, after allegedly performing a sex act with a minor victim between March 1, 2019, and May 31, 2019. As set by the agreement, Alexander will plea guilty on two counts of lascivious acts with a child, both class C felonies. His plea hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 16. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and $20,000 in fines.
