Breda Man Sentenced To Probation After Causing Nearly $3,000 In Damages To Slot Machines

A Breda man was sentenced to two years probation after causing nearly $3,000 in damages to slot machines at Wild Rose Casino earlier this year. According to Greene County District Court records, in May, 56-year-old Christopher Ray Brotherson was caught on a surveillance camera intentionally striking two machines with such force numerous times that damage was caused to the play button as well as the protective glass over it. Estimated damage to the machines was approximately $2,987. Brotherson entered a plea agreement in October for third-degree criminal mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor. Per the agreement, Brotherson has been placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $3,897.91 in fines, victim restitution, and other court costs with a 15% surcharge.
