The Carroll City Council is moving forward with $3.63 million in conversions and improvements to the community’s wastewater treatment facility. Public Works Director Randy Krauel explains the work that is planned.
Krauel says the bidding process should move quickly, with a contractor likely to be chosen by the end of the year.
Construction will likely take around 18 months, with a substantial completion slated for July 1, 2026. The council hosted a public hearing on the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost at its Monday, Nov. 25, meeting and did not hear any comments for or against the planned work. The council voted unanimously to proceed with the project.
