Construction will likely take around 18 months, with a substantial completion slated for July 1, 2026. The council hosted a public hearing on the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost at its Monday, Nov. 25, meeting and did not hear any comments for or against the planned work. The council voted unanimously to proceed with the project.
