The Exira Community Club is asking for donations of food or a toy for individuals needing assistance this Christmas. During this year’s Festival of Lights, the organization is asking for non-perishable food items and hygiene products, with canned fruits, veggies, and personal care items being highly requested, to be donated to the Exira Food Pantry. Individuals can also bring in a new, unwrapped toy or clothing for children of all ages for the Audubon County New Opportunities toy drive. Donations can be dropped off during the Festival of Lights on Dec. 7 or before at any of the locations listed below. Again, the Exira Community Club is asking for help to continue to support individuals in the county, ensuring everyone has a joyful Christmas.
