The Sac City Police Department is partnering up with Crime Stoppers to offer a reward leading to the arrest of the individual(s) who graffitied around the Sac City Trail in late November. At the beginning of the trail, near the river access for the canoe launch and the campgrounds, trees have been spray painted with red initials “T + R” and what is believed to be a Swastikas outlined in black. Crime Stoppers has awarded $500 to anyone who can identify the vandal(s) that will be facing criminal charges. The Sac City City Council is also reviewing tonight (Tuesday) at their meeting to match the reward, bringing the total to $1,000.
