Clean Grid Alliance (CGA) and the Calhoun County Economic Development Corporation will host a free, informative session discussing the benefits of renewable energy projects. On Monday, Dec. 9, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Manson Area Community Center, CGA, along with Matt Boor, a renewable energy expert, and Iowa native Thomas Bean, how solar energy in communities boosts economic stimulus, creates jobs, and increase tax revenue while promoting clean, renewable energy. After the presentation, a Q & A session will be held to provide more information to attendees. Solar 101 is part of CGA’s Midwest 101 Series, held with stakeholders across the region.
