CCRW Host Human Trafficking Seminar Dec. 9 In Manning

The Carroll County Republican Women invite the public to join them next week for a presentation on human trafficking. The program will be held on Monday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Kerkhoff Shelter House in Manning, featuring Teresa Davidson, the co-founder and CEO of Chains Interrupted, and District 56 Iowa Representative Mark Thompson, who served on the state human trafficking interim study committee during the last legislative session. The pair will present on the prevalence of human trafficking, how to spot signs, and what to do to help suspected victims. Attending Monday’s program is free, but organizers request participants be at least 13 years of age or older.
