A week from today (Saturday), a Western Iowa Transit vehicle will be parked outside the Carroll Hy-Vee as volunteers hope to “Stuff the Bus” with food donations for the Community of Concern Food Pantry. For the last 20+ years, LuAnne Kustra, who also serves on the pantry’s board of directors, has organized the drive, and Stuff the Bus has become the largest single-day event benefiting the Community of Concern.

The Community of Concern is different from many food pantries, as it is need-based and not income-based. Any family experiencing temporary food insecurity is eligible for assistance. Learn more at www.commofconcern.com.
