Water service in the City of Willey has temporarily been disconnected this (Tuesday) morning following the discovery of a water main break in the community’s system. According to Mayor Kirstin Nehring, service will remain unavailable until further notice to allow crews to locate and correct the break. Once service has been restored, a boil advisory will be in effect for all customers in Willey. That order is expected to last up to 48 hours from the time service begins until at least two test samples for bacteria return clear of contamination. City officials apologize for the inconvenience and thank customers for their patience.
