On Saturday, a Western Iowa Transit vehicle will be parked outside the Carroll Hy-Vee as volunteers hope to “Stuff the Bus” with food donations for the Community of Concern Food Pantry. For the last 20 years, LuAnne Kustra, who also serves on the pantry’s board of directors, has organized the drive, and Stuff the Bus has become the largest single-day event benefiting the Community of Concern.

The Community of Concern is different from many food pantries, as it is need-based and not income-based. Any family experiencing temporary food insecurity is eligible for assistance. Learn more at www.commofconcern.com.
