The council will also consider accepting the certificate of substantial completion for the Adams Street reconstruction project, which had a final construction cost of $3,626,499.80. Kooiker says the council will also review the summary from its goal-setting meeting in November, which included continued funding for infill housing incentives and city land purchases for housing and business development as the highest priority. Other items on Monday’s agenda include lease agreements with Carroll and Kuemper Catholic for the schools’ extracurricular programs, setting a public hearing date for the city’s first FY25 budget amendment, and the FY26 budget preparation schedule. The Dec. 16 meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the city’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and video are included with this story on our website.
