The Carroll Chamber of Commerce and Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) have announced the schedule for the 2025 Legislative Forums. The forums, featuring District 6 Sen. Jason Schultz of Schleswig and District 11 Rep. Craig Williams of Manning, will provide updates on legislative activities and discussions about pending bills. Each session will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with opening remarks from the legislators, followed by prepared questions from the Chamber and Growth Partnership Legislative Committee, and an opportunity for attendees to ask their own questions. The first forum is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25, at New Hope’s Activities Building in Carroll. Additional forums are set for Feb. 22 at the Breda Shelter House, March 29 at the Kuemper Catholic High School, and April 26 in the Cretsinger Building in Coon Rapids. Residents can submit questions for consideration by emailing chamber@carrolliowa.com. The forums are free, open to the public, and designed to encourage civic engagement.
