U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst has named Elliott Art Studio of Greene County as her Small Business of the Week. Ernst, who is the current ranking member of the Senate Small Business Committee, recognizes a small business weekly in each of Iowa’s 99 counties during this Congress. In 2023, the Elliotts moved to Jefferson and opened Elliott Art Studio, which has quickly become a hub for local artists. The space includes a gallery to showcase finished pieces and a workshop where artists can create and learn. The studio also hosts concerts and open mic nights and sells home decor and apparel featuring Chad Elliott’s original designs. Ernst says, “Chad and Alyssa Elliott have crafted a creative hub that fosters the next generation of Iowa artists. After painting murals throughout Iowa, now their family-owned and operated Elliott Art Studio is sharing their artistic talents through art, apparel, and home decor.” Ernst’s Small Business of the Week program highlights outstanding small businesses across Iowa, celebrating their contributions to local communities and economies.
