Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) McCrary-Rost Clinic in Rockwell City receives a donation from Carene Folden’s estate to purchase mobile equipment. Towards the end of her life, Folden received care from the comfort of her home thanks to Barb Weber, ARNP, and the rest of the staff at SMCH’s McCrary-Rost Clinic. The Folden family worked with the SMCH Foundation to make Carene’s estate gift impactful and allow other patients to remain at home as much as possible like she was. With the donation, the clinic purchased new mobile vital machines. SMCH CEO Linn Block says, “We are deeply grateful for gifts like Carene’s, which make an immediate and lasting impact on our ability to provide exceptional care. These generous donations allow us to invest in advanced equipment, tools, and resources that support both our patients and our providers. The Folden family’s gift not only honors Carene’s memory but also strengthens the care we deliver to our entire community.”
