The Prom Closet in Coon Rapids is asking for the donation of gently used prom dresses which will be available for free for high school students to be able to experience prom without the hefty price tag. Now in its 11th year, the Prom Closet has been assisting between 100 to 200 students annually by providing free dress, shoes, and accessories to get the complete prom look. Prom Closet organizer, Dona Tuel, along with the assistance of Tina Zanders, opens in February at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids and they are wanting to fill the two rooms at the church again with different style and size prom dresses to have something for everyone.
