St. Anthony Regional Hospital’s The Birth Place welcomes first baby of 2025, a rainbow baby for a Breda family. A little girl, Callie Paige Uhlenkamp, was born on Jan. 2 at 8:53 p.m. weighing six pounds, three ounces and measuring 18.5 inches long. Callie is welcomed by parents Cory and Elizabeth Uhlenkamp and two older siblings, Charlie, who is five and Carly, three. The rainbow baby was born a year after the Uhlenkamp’s lost a child, Callum, at 19 weeks, making her arrival even more special. All three of Cory and Elizabeth’s children were born at The Birth Place, with her mother-in-law, Virginia Uhlenkamp as her nurse each time, who Elizabeth says is “the best of the best.” The St. Anthony Birth Place staff congratulates and thanks the Uhlenkamp’s for entrusting their services, and allowing the Birth Place the honor to welcome the newest addition into the family.
